The rule, in one line: live conversations —calls and meetings— go by subscription; loose credits are for integrations and jobs; and anything we set up ourselves is quoted. If you have credits and want to make a call, they stay there for your rooms and your jobs: the call needs a plan.

This is the part worth reading, because it is where the bill actually comes from — and where we are not like the rest.
Speech, not duration
A one-hour meeting with twenty minutes of conversation pays for twenty minutes. Silence, applause and the wait until someone starts are not charged, because there is nothing to translate there. Everyone else charges for the connected hour; we only charge the minutes someone is speaking.
Every language counts
Including the one being spoken: a meeting in Spanish heard in English, French and German is four languages, not three. Each one costs the same, 2 credits per spoken minute. There are no multipliers and no tiers — you pay for what you use, and if your meeting is three languages you pay for three.
Subtitling without translating costs less
A room can see what is being said without sending the voice anywhere: that is 1.25 credits per spoken minute, and it does not multiply per language, because what you see is what is said. It is decided sentence by sentence, not at the start — turn translation on halfway through and what came before still counts as subtitles and what comes after as translation.
You know the price before it runs
For anything queued, we measure the speech first and answer with the minutes and the cost. Nothing starts until that number exists, so no invoice is ever a surprise.
A one-hour meeting, in two languages

What it costs, for each thing
Live is charged per spoken minute, in credits. What you send us to process is charged per hour of audio, or per character: a recording is listened to once and each extra language only pays its translation; a text pays each language, because each one is translated whole.

How far do your credits go?
Choose what you will use. The same balance gives you different minutes or characters depending on the product.
20 spoken minutes
Shared balance: these are alternative uses, not separate allowances.
A credit is worth €0.20 and it does not move; what changes is how many we give you — with the packs a credit comes up to 10 % cheaper, and on a monthly plan up to 39 %. Live, every language counts, the spoken one included; in jobs, up to five each, a recording pays each extra language only for its translation and a text pays each language. Up to four hours and 800 MB per recording, 100,000 characters per text and three jobs queued at once, and 6,667 characters of written text equal one credit. The result stays 15 days; the file you uploaded is deleted as soon as the job finishes. When you sign up you get 150 trial credits, or 15 days, whichever comes first.
Prices are before VAT. What gets added depends on where you are: 21% in Spain, your own country's rate elsewhere in the EU, and nothing at all with a valid intra-community VAT number. Stripe works it out and itemises it on the invoice — so nobody reads €20 and gets charged €24.20 without having been told.

With credit packs there is nothing to cancel, because nothing recurs: what you did not spend stays where it is until you come back. The Teams subscription is monthly, and it is cancelled from the Microsoft portal.

- 01What exactly is a credit?
- Currency: €0.20, and it does not move. It is not a minute of anything — each thing has its own rate. A spoken minute is 2 credits per language if it is translated, 1.25 if it is only subtitled, and 1 more per notes language if you want them. Written text counts by characters: 6,667 make one credit. What changes between one pack and another is not the price of a credit: it is how many credits we give you for the same money.
- 02Do credits expire?
- It depends which credits. Loose packs —the ones for integrations and jobs— last twelve months from the day you buy them: nothing renews and you spend them whenever you like within that year. Subscription credits, both in Microsoft Teams and in the Liora Flow app, are monthly: they renew each month and do not roll over.
- 03What happens if I run out in the middle of an event?
- Nothing is cut off at the worst possible moment. There is a margin below zero so a room that is broadcasting carries on to the end, and you are warned well before you reach it. That applies to prepaid balance. On a plan, the overage box decides: without it, translation stops when the quota runs out.
- 04Is there a monthly fee?
- With credit packs there is none, and none is planned: you buy credits when you need credits, and a quiet month costs nothing. Translation inside Microsoft Teams is the exception, and we say so up front: it is bought on AppSource as a monthly subscription, with its credits per month — and with exactly the same tools as in the app, out of the same pot.
- 05Do I have to leave a card on file?
- Not to try it. When you sign up you get 150 trial credits, or 15 days, whichever comes first, and nothing is charged for them. Buying a pack does not store any card you did not choose to store, and you can remove it from your account whenever you like.
- 06Do I get a proper invoice?
- One per purchase, issued and kept by Stripe, carrying your billing name and tax number. You download them from your account. VAT is itemised, and an intra-community VAT number is honoured.
- 07How long does a recording take?
- Around a tenth of its own length, when the machine is free — an hour of audio is roughly six minutes of waiting. Deferred work always gives way to a live room, so on a busy Sunday morning it waits.
- 08Which languages?
- Fifteen: Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Ukrainian. All at once, from the same audio.
- 09What is the small print?
- The prices above, plus VAT where it applies. There is no setup fee, no per-user fee, no charge for extra rooms and no charge for asking for a different output format a week later.
